| Welcome to FOR WOMEN ONLY™. Our practice was founded in 1993 by James Mirabile, M.D., who has a passion to provide the utmost care for women in a personal, family atmospere. In addition to Dr. Mirabile we are proud to have added Dr. Amy Sorrells and Dr. David Lang to our staff. We have three wonderful, caring Certified Nurse Midwives, Jill Feurt, Lindsey O’Neill-Hill, and Crystal Murphy with over 20+ years experience, and Nurse Practitioner Bridget Webb who joined us in 1995. When we say you are special, we mean it! We take time with every patient, and try to treat each person the way we would want to be treated, or the way we wish for our families to be treated. Some visits are quick, some take a little longer. Emergencies do arise, and sometimes people must wait to be seen. We do not “short” anyone on the time we spend with them, so we hope you will understand that if you are kept waiting in the office, it is because we are giving time to someone in more need... just like we will do for you. Waiting in a doctor’s office is extremely frustrating, and we know this. Your time is valuable, and so are you! We want you to feel like family. If you cannot wait, tell the receptionist and our promise is to work you in at YOUR most convenient time! Thank you for your understanding. FOR WOMEN ONLY physicians, midwives and nurse practitioner have been trained traditionally but are progressive in their approach to patient care. The group combines expertise in general ob-gyn care, high risk obstetrics, advanced laparoscopy, operative hysteroscopy and in-office NOVASURE™ uterine ablation for irregular, or heavy vaginal bleeding and menstrual cramping. FOR WOMEN ONLY has also developed expertise in gynecologic urology under the guidance of practitioner Crystal Murphy, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of interstitial cystitis and incontinence issues. Melody is our registered sonographer and is on the cutting edge of technology with her 3D / 4-D ultrasound machine. Our holistic approach to the menopausal period of a women’s lifecycle, encompassing counseling, support, pharmacological and bio-identical therapy provides a key service to today’s contemporary woman. Bio-Identical hormones are a specialty Dr. Mirabile has excelled in over the past ten years, and he utilizes them in both premenopausal, perimenopausal and menopausal women. Sensitive attention is also given to our teen patients and their parents, and we are proud to accept both Kansas and Missouri Medicaid. Our focus is on providing optimal patient care. We combine professionalism with sensitivity to your unique health history and current concerns. We return phone calls. We call patients to see how they're doing. We treat each patient as we would want to be treated. We take the time to get to know you.
